Tolerance and Sensitivity in the Fuse Network
نویسندگان
چکیده
We show that depending on the disorder, a small noise added to the threshold distribution of the fuse network may or may not completely change the subsequent breakdown process. When the threshold distribution has a lower cutoff at a finite value and a power law dependence towards large thresholds with an exponent which is less than 0.16 ± 0.03, the network is not sensitive to the added noise, otherwise it is. The transition between sensitivity or not appears to be second order, and is related to a localization-delocalization transition earlier observed in such systems.

A generalized ABFT technique using a fault tolerant neural network
In this paper we first show that standard BP algorithm cannot yeild to a uniform information distribution over the neural network architecture. A measure of sensitivity is defined to evaluate fault tolerance of neural network and then we show that the sensitivity of a link is closely related to the amount of information passes through it. Based on this assumption, we prove that the distribu...
متن کاملAn Online Free Penetration Multi-Stage Fuse Saving Protection Scheme in Distribution Systems with Photovoltaic Sources
In this paper, a multi-stage protective scheme is proposed to maintain the fuse and reclosers coordination. The proposed method operates online and proportional to the photovoltaic sources penetration rate. In the first step, a non-standard Current - Time - Voltage curve is used for fuse saving. If the new calculated TDS from the first stage is not implementable to the reclosers, the second sta...
